Bohol Summer Get Away (Day 1) : City Tour

Since its summer already, I feel like I wanna share my getaways last year 2011 even if its too late.
Last April, we had our company outing in Bohol, Tagbilaran. We arrived at the airport at 9:50 am and headed to our city Tour.

The first thing that you will notice in Tagbilaran is that it has many churches. According to our tour guide,
the boholanos are very religious.

First stop : The Blood compact
T         There are other tourist in the blood compact taking pictures so we have to wait for our turn. Some are taking pictures at the back which is overlooking the Panglao Island. There's also a souvenir shop nearby. Its cheaper than to other souvenir shop.

Our next stop is the Baclayon Church

Well, I didnt get to go inside. I was already fascinated from its facade. It was so amazing, after all these years, its still there. I also get a little creepy feeling.

Anyway, after the church, we were hungry and headed to Rio Verde Floating Resto at the Loboc River. It is a buffet lunch , I dont know how much it costs. (All the expenses are free.hehe)

The final station of the river tour is the Ati Tribe.
After lunch we headed to where the tarsiers are. They were so cute. Cameras with flash are not allowed as they might get scared. The guide also told us that they have the suicidal tendency. They held their breathes until they die.
The final stop is the Chocolate Hills. You have to climb the stairs to get into the top most part of the hill.

Well, I cant say anything. Whew! Its worth the climb. Haha. I also heard someone asked if its natural. Of course, its natural. Really looks like a chocolate.

There is a path you can take to come down easily. Its already 5:00 pm and we're going to the Panglao Tropical Resort where we will stay for 3 more days.
By the way, we also get into the Butterfly Orchard. And as expected, there are butterflies. Haha. Tomorrow will be island hopping.
